Dear GDP members,
It’s the 6th week of the quarter! It represents that we already discussed the first four UN Millennium Development Goals. GDP club hopes all attendees did have a good time with us and got impressed by global actions that are addressing poverty. This week, we are going to talk about the UN-MDGs Goal#5: Improve Maternal Health. There are 4.1 infants who are new born on this planet every second! WOW! Kiva is a Seattle-based nonprofit organization. They are sponsoring Matt Flannery - CEO and Co-Founder of Kiva.org to come to Seattle. He will be spoken at Town Hall on March 5th, at 7 p.m. GDP club invites all of you to meet with Mr. Flannery who is one of the individuals helps the poor to fight and deal with poverty.
