Updates: Weekly Meting of May 6th

Global Development Project Club will be meeting on this Wednesday for weekly discussion on “Saving for Change” and usual club business. Careers in Microfinance: Big Challenges in Small Investments
YPIN and SeaMo are pleased to join forces to bring you an evening of insights into the growing field of microfinance. This event will feature panelists from several local organizations that are defining Seattle as a leader in local and international micro-lending. Representatives will all share their insights on how they entered the field of microfinance, challenges they encountered, successes they’ve enjoyed, and recommendations that they have for those interested in the field. There will also be time in the career panel for direct questions from the audience. We hope to see you there!

★ Improving Infant Health Care in Guatemala
Mariana Rivera de Petersen, who is a Lactation Consultant in one of the largest public hospital in Guatemala, is coming to provide classes to our nursing students and she has agreed to give a public address on the subject of the well-baby initiative in Guatemala.
